Detailed Feature Breakdown

1. Image Resizing Mode

In Resize Image mode, you can control the width and height of the image in pixels:

Aspect Ratio Lock Enabled: Editing the width automatically calculates the corresponding height based on the original ratio, and vice versa. This keeps proportions natural and avoids distortion.
Aspect Ratio Lock Disabled: Allows completely independent width and height adjustments for specific custom box containers or banner dimensions.
Quick Percentage Presets: Quickly scale by 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% with one click.

2. Compress to KB Mode (Target File Size)

Many online upload portals enforce maximum upload sizes (such as "must be under 100 KB" or "maximum 50 KB"). Our tool solves this through:

Direct KB Entry: Enter any custom number of kilobytes in the input field.
Interactive Stepper: Use the [ − ] and [ + ] buttons to increment or decrement in smart steps (5 KB, 10 KB, 25 KB, or 50 KB increments depending on scale).
Quick Presets: One-touch buttons for 20 KB, 50 KB, 100 KB, 200 KB, 300 KB, 500 KB, and 1 MB.
Binary Search Algorithm: The client-side engine executes an iterative binary search over compression quality values to locate the exact quality parameter that produces a file size as close as possible to your desired target.

Automatic Dimension Reduction Option

When attempting to reach an extremely low target size (such as 20 KB on a high-resolution 4K photo), quality compression alone may hit the lower mathematical bound without reaching the target. By checking "Automatically reduce dimensions if needed", the tool will gently scale the dimensions downwards until the target is satisfied.

3. Resize + Compress Combined Mode
